Hi. I'm a graphic designer and I love color and typography.
Origin Story:
I received my BA in English from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. While at Wesleyan, I took a letterpress class on a whim and fell in love with typography and all things design. I continued my design education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and received my MFA in Design from California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
I worked at agencies large and small in San Francisco before returning to St. Louis to start my own business Think Creative. I have done web and print work for a range of companies and nonprofits, including Facebook, Whole Foods, Fitbit, Charter Spectrum, Advance Peace, MapleGOOD, and St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness. I take projects from strategy and planning through brainstorm and ideation to sketching to finished products.
I am an educator at Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis. I teach courses in typography and web design.
When I'm not designing, I'm crafting, running, or spending time with my family, geriatric cat, and puppy. In my spare time, I serve as PTO president at my kids' school.
