Vote YES! on Prop L

I took on this pro-bono project at the request of the Maplewood Library Preservation group, who needed several eye-catching design pieces to encourage voters to not only attend a midterm election, but also to vote in favor of this measure. With the beautiful, historic building that houses the library at the heart of the campaign, I drew a line-based illustration of the structure to incorporate into each piece. Over the course of the campaign, I designed a letter to citizens, postcard, door hang, yard sign, and poster. The poster was a collaboration with local screen printer Tiny Little Monster, using two colors on black stock.

After the votes were tallied, the campaign measure won with an 87% yes vote. This was a larger margin of victory than any other contest on the ballet that day in the county. This measure also received more votes than either of the other two propositions on this particular ballot.
